Jallatte, créateur de bien-être

The company

Founded in 1947 by Pierre Jallatte, Jallatte® is an historic brand in the safety footwear business. Its expertise is the result of years of experience and is the reference point of the European market.
For over 60 years, safety, comfort, well being and design are the hallmarks of a process that has led Jallatte® naturally to take account of the health-related questions linked to wearing safety footwear. Jallatte® completely integrates its ideas on these matters into its products, right from the design phase.

The brand

Jallatte® is owned by JAL Group, a leading European group in the manufacture and marketing of safety footwear, whose headquarters are located in Italy.
JAL GROUP FRANCE SAS is owned by JAL Group which was created in 2000 from the merger of two leading groups in Europe in the field of footwear for professional use: the French group Jallatte® (Jallatte® and Lupos® brands) and the Italian group Almar (AIMONT® and ALMAR® brands).

Research & development

The activities of Design, Research and Development for Jallatte® brand are concentrated in Italy, in a high tech R&D Centre, entirely devoted to develop new technologies and materials to improve the conditions of a man at work, beyond what is required by European standards and thus promote his "well being".

The methods of production

The majority of Jallatte® production is manufactured in Tunisia, in JAL Group's technologically advanced manufacturing unit, which employs over 4,400 people.
The plant in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort is assigned to the production of Lightane™, Triftane™ and dual-density Softane™, as well as Xétane™ toe caps. Our principle is to maintain highly automated and flexible production lines and units (production capacity: 3.000 to 3.500 pairs / day). At each stage of the manufacturing process and before leaving the plant, Jallatte® shoes undergo tests and quality controls.
The quest for quality begins with the careful selection of raw materials and components that have previously been tested for performance.

Commercial presence

The distribution of Jallatte® shoes is supported by the Group's sales offices present in the major European markets: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Tunisia and the United Kingdom and sales networks in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe East, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, North Africa and Middle East.
